Laura and Jon wanted their engagement photos taken. However, due to their extremely busy schedule before their big day, it ended up getting pushed back until after the wedding. So here they are as I met them on a pleasant autumn morning in November, happily married and totally excited, as they are expecting! =)
Chelsea and Damien had a beautiful November wedding at the Westin Georgetown. We took advantage of the nice autumn light before the ceremony for some fun portraits with the wedding party, who were all so great to work with! The reception was vibrant and energetic with many of the guests dancing throughout the night. In fact, Chelsea and Damien spontaneously decided to extend the party at the urge of their friends, who didn’t want the night to end! It was so nice to see everyone on the dance floor as they celebrated this special day with the newlyweds! Congratulations, Chelsea and Damien!

Khanh and Derrick’s wedding was held on that special day when snow decided to come early in 2011. It was only October 29th and what began as rain turned into beautiful snow as the day progressed. Starting with a traditional Vietnamese wedding ceremony in the morning, a mass ceremony at the church, and a reception at New Fortune restaurant, Khanh and Derrick finally got to enjoy the day that they were looking forward to for a long time. Derrick surprised his wife with a birthday cake, as it was her birthday as well as her wedding day! Congratulations, Khanh and Derrick!
