Meet my older brother, Min, and my future sister-in-law, Jung. They felt an instant connection as soon as they met and it didn’t take long for them to realize that they were meant to be together! Their wedding is set for March of 2012 and I will have the joy of documenting their special day! I’m so excited to welcome Jung into our family, who already fits in so well. Not only is she a beautiful person, but she also has a heart of gold. As a chiropractor, she lovingly treats my parents for their many years of physically demanding labor as restaurant owners. It warms my heart to see my brother with such a wonderful person!

A wonderful way to personalize your engagement session is to incorporate an activity that you enjoy doing together as a couple. That’s exactly what Arianne and Ian did for their session back in October. They brought their canoe and rowed along Muddy Creek in Pennsylvania, one of their favorite spots to canoe and fish together. The nature scenery from this location provides a nice contrast to the more urban backgrounds that will be present during their wedding at the American Visionary Art Museum next summer, which I’m very much looking forward to!

Ann and Eric had their beautiful autumn wedding at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, which provided a gorgeous scenery for everyone to enjoy. Eric’s good friend officiated at the ceremony and generated quite a bit of laughter from the couple and their guests with some unexpected, humorous comments. At the reception, a tea ceremony was held in order to honor the parents and the elders, which added a special touch. It was great to see Ann and Eric celebrate amongst their family and friends, many of whom traveled from afar. I personally really enjoyed having so much time with this couple for their portraits, both before the ceremony and after the reception. The garden provided so much to work with and Ann and Eric’s sweet nature made it a perfect combination!

We began bright and early one morning in Washington DC for Lehigh and Brian’s engagement session. They brought their cute dog, Wrigley to the session to include him in some of the photos of this special time in their lives. I’m so glad that Lehigh suggested this particular location since there were so many fun backdrops to work with! They both wanted to include the architectural elements in DC into the photos and I think we definitely achieved it! Meet Lehigh, Brian and Wrigley. Aren’t they a cute family? =)
